CAC Launches Gold Sticker Program

CAC has begun accepting submissions for their new gold sticker program, which identifies coins that grade at the high end of their assigned grade.

The green sticker continues to indicate coins meeting CAC’s quality standards. Gold stickers signify exceptional examples.

How It Works

Coins receiving gold stickers must already have green stickers. The new designation costs an additional $20 per coin and requires resubmission.

Early data suggests approximately 8-12% of green-stickered coins qualify for gold designation.

Market reaction has been positive. Several dealers report premiums of 15-25% for gold sticker coins over standard green examples.

CAC founder John Albanese stated the program responds to collector demand for finer distinctions within grade boundaries.
